The MIVEC family of engines on the CJ Lancers all start with "4BXX" and runs a chain to the two cam shafts. The valve timing mechanism is not compatible with a cam belt. The older CH 2.0 and 2.4L engines run cam belts to the single cam. a 4G69 engine is not a MIVEC engine. We have a CH and a CJ in the family, both 2L manuals.
