The 1.8 engine temperature sensor has a 4 pin connector, but only 3 of them are populated. Referring to the diagram below, A1 = Empty, A2 = Red/black. B1 = White, B2 = Orange. Test the resistance of the sensor between pins B1 and B2 with the engine hot and cold. . Turn off ignition.
