I would have quit GW2 without a level 80 boost. Hey guys, 2 week old player here. I kind of feel like I come to this sub to lose upvotes, but whatever I'm going to speak my mind because I feel like I've seen a lot of hate towards the level 80 boosts. So I've seen people say that I'd miss out on the story, that I wouldn't know how to play my Pretty much any veteran will tell you to shelf that character and level another one from scratch. The game really isn't easy and not great with giving you directions. Due to scaling, the entire world stays a relevant part of gameplay experience during endgame. Because of the fact you cant overlevel any single piece of content, this ensures you can always go back and play in your favorite areas or explore places you might have missed, and still be rewarded (to a degree) for doing it. In this video, I'll try to answer the following questions and discuss the following points: • Level 80, now what? • The most popular PvE game types in Guild Wars 2 at level 80 • What's the 1-80 is just the core game, Now you have 10 years worth of releases to go explore. There's no real one way to do things It's up to you to choose. Personally I recommend following the story in Order of the story journal, It's one long continuous story so going straight to expansions will spoil a lot. 2. The build decides if a Char is squish or not, i have seen unkillable Elementalists in WvW or Necros soloing Content made for 5-10 people. 3. Yes, after leveling with ToK and ofc the 80-boost, crafting is still the less time consuming way of leveling. You are gonna need to level ~3 professions tho, since they give you roughly 7 levels each IF I'm not mistaken If he's missing 1 proffesion at 500 he'd like to get there anyway, it's doable with 2. Lvling a character from 55 till 80 doesn't take a long time. Since the boost will give a Celestial gear set, I suggest create a new character that will benefit from Celestial set and boost it to level 80. #8. tatiana Jul 22 @ 2:26am. Buy PoF and have somebody who is lvl80 party with you. Start the first mission of PoF and tag along while they kill things. Leveling right now is so painful. I honestly got super excited to play the machinist new job that came out with this expansion and I came back and made a character and wanted to level it to like EXPERIENCE the game. Now I learned it's at level 80. 4WgbF.
